MAD-3A (p79) - very Davion, and the ability to never overheat even if it alpha strikes and walks means it can lay down constant firepower Also works to make a great cup of tea after the battle. OSS-3R (p76) - with the liquid cooling in the same torso as the PPCs, I am getting ideas of the water-cooled Maxim gun, but in this case the PPC heat is transferred to the cubic meter of ice or water. Annoying at range, and aggravating up close Could workīJ-1JJ (p45) - with two LRM-10, 12 shots each, 4/6/6 movement, and 4 medium lasers, I like it. Perhaps moving the rear-mounted Flamer and putting it in the head would be good? (Though losing all the flamer ammo is a good hint to the pilot to return to base for repairs.)ĪSN-30LAM (p38) - every weapon is on the right-hand side, means the left side is 'expendable'? Could workĪSN-21DC (p39) - weapons are split between the sides, provides sustained firepower. Currently if the Mech loses the right torso, it has lost all of its weaponry, and still has the left torso ammo bomb.įS9-H (p33) - it will have to lose both arms to be out of Flamer fuel, but would a better idea be removing one of the center torso flamers and putting some of the fuel there? Or putting it into one of the torsos? This way it can keep on fighting. HNT-153 (p11) - I'd want to move the SRM-2 to the same torso location as the ammo. (some of these might be quirks based on the original designs, apologies for that)ĪAT-1R (p5) - the Lift Hoist in the same torso as the Machine Gun ammo, very nice use of crit location padding so the ammo only has 1 in 4 chance of being hit the first time. Modular Space Station (p10) - would the fluff say that it has a basic hull, and the others are built as variants of that hull (so they cannot self-modify, but the basic structure to all of them is nearly identical) G class Cargo carrier (p1) - should the Large lasers be put in the aft arc to drive off tailgaters? Or is the forward arc used to semi-protect the cargo vessel from air attacks? (2020-Aug-10 - modified page numbers due to updates in the books) So who knows.Įither way, I plan to have more to come in the future as I turn this pile of sheets into something coherent. don't plan on adding additional units to this project, but then I've said that lots of times so far. Keep in mind this is just the raw record sheets, both without context and occasionally including niggling little bugs that I am working to notice and nag the Megameklab team about. Eventually I intend to take these compilations, combine them with writeups giving a brief bit of context to those units I don't think are self explanatory, and put them all together into one volume.īut for now, if you'd like, you may download and peruse these record sheets at your leisure here. Pages and pages of record sheets compiled by broad unit classification. look, I figured being a disabled shut-in I'd handle quarantine fine, but I didn't realize it'd get this boring! Also partly it's an excuse to fill in some gaps that Fasa/Fanpro/Catalyst hasn't touched on yet.Īlso also partly.
Partly it's an excuse to throw some of my own stuff into a compilation. Mostly it's an excuse to use all the gadgets that were retroactively available during the 3025 era, but weren't actually added to the universe until after they stopped focusing on the 3025 era.
The book is intended for the late succession wars era and mostly focuses on more "fringe designs" such as experimental variants, test beds, old designs that got rare with time, designs that never took off in the first place, or specialized units with very situational equipment. So I'm working on putting together a record sheet book.
